Muahahaha... Anyway... so I tried out my headset yesterday, and as those of you who were on last night know, it's not working so great. When I run the mic test, it echoes and distorts like crazy. It sounds fine when I test it using sound recorder in windows. Dunno what to do. :8

Try altering the mic volume, and boost... These things sometimes screw it all up. Lower the volume first, and give it a listen in "microphone test".

Yeah, just screw with some settings and you'll probably getting it working fine. Good job getting a mic though, makes everything so much easier.

It really does. I think I've got it semi-working now. I'm not quite sure since I don't know how it sounds to everyone else, so tell me if it sounds like crap and I'll try to tweak it some more.

    FUCK

I played Dead Center on expert with some friends. The entire time, one of em keeps taking two health kits, which really didn't effect me up until the mall and I had to go throughout the entire thing without getting downed. I didn't really mind, and it was too late to complain to him because he took 2 before the next level started and it began like that (also, I was in fairly decent health, so asking him to heal me would've been a waste)

Even though it wasn't really hard, I had never completed an expert mission in L4D2 all the way through. We get to the atrium, and after a few tries we finally see a good plan to do to get the gas cans easily and fill up the car as soon as possible. We fill up the car about 6 gas cans and there's still a ton on left on the ground, we were all in awesome health, so losing didn't seem to be a factor at this point. I was, by far, the hardest working person on my team due to the fact that I was the only one walking around without the first aid kit, the only one making sure I wasn't shooting people, and the only one picking up supplies that were a bit out of the way. So what's coming up is the worst kick in the balls I've had playing my xbox.

My xbox has a tendency to cut out when the fan in the back is too hot, and I checked multiple times throughout the game to see if it was too hot (it wasn't). But right before the campaign was almost over, the xbox cut out.

It wasn't THAT much of a waste of time, but I'm pretty sure that my xbox has a life wish to keep me from completing a l4d2 expert campaign. I'm not sure if the others made it, and honestly, I hope they did since they were nice people, but it kinda pisses me off that I was breaking my balls just to make it easier for everyone else, and it decides to punish me.

I know the post was random ranting on top of having a huge ego, but... iduncare.

"FUCK" indeed. I lose connection to Xbox LIVE at the worst moments, and it won't let me back on for a good ten minutes. Doesn't happen much, but always at bad times. :P

Well, at least you can get so far in L4D/2. I cant even get past the second chapter of No Mercy in L4D on Advanced.
