TF2 Top 5 Map Poll
Judging by <a href="http://www.texasteamplayers.com/index.php?topic=37843" target="_blank">this poll</a> in the Reservist forum it appears as though the second TTP TF2 server will be a Top5 server. However, this does not mean that the second server has been set as a top5, just that it appears to be the option likely to win.
Thus, the question for all of you who play on the TF2 server is:
What five maps would you like to see on the 'Top5' server?
Discuss, lobby, and state your case. And may the best maps win.

Alright, I'm going to make my case for ctf_2fort, the map everyone loves to hate.
I personally love this map. I like it's design and I like that CTF is a change of pace from CP maps. I believe that both 2Fort and Goldrush should be in this Top5 server because it will mean that we have a variety of map modes.
But Arreo, 2Fort always devolves into a stalemate!
You know what, that's because it's a different game mode. It isn't control points where you have an obvious objective that you just throw yourself toward like lemmings. You have to think and stratigize how you are going to break into the enemy base and get out alive. It takes teamwork.
Ok well, 2Fort kills the server!
Wrong. It doesn't kill the server population or any garbage like that, some people see 2Fort coming and bail on the server. But after 4-5 minutes of playing the map the server is full again.
Well the map just turns into a snipefest...
So? Different game mode, remember? Are there 4 enemy snipers? Well then it should be easy to sneak into their base through the sewers. Or go spy and backstab all of them while they are lined up like ducklings on the battlements. And if they are being non-teamplayers they are going to be kicked anyway so why worry?
That's really all I have to say about 2fort. It should be in the server rotation. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.

ctf_2fort isn't the server killer, it's ctf_well

The way I see it there are five different types of maps, mostly indicated by the prefix (cp, pl, ctf, tc), but the cp maps come in the symmetric tug-of-war variety (well, granary) or the progressive attackers vs. defenders style (dustbowl, gravelpit). I made it a point to pick one of each type just to encourage as much variety as possible. But if I could choose six I would go for both dustbowl and gravelpit.
