Red is more offensive and blue is more defensive imo.
And the best defense is a good offense!
I think about it that way i gueess. :P

You also have to remember that Red is the primary color used in the TF2 textures. Yes, this makes a difference. blue stands out more than red in TF2. so i take back that statement about yellow.
Just as the primary color used in ETQW was brown.

In most single-player games, red always indicates the enemy while blue is reserved for NPC teammates. In multiplayer this leads to confusion, because suddenly the colors are in flux. It's not major, but it's enough to screw up a round of CS:S and account for that 4.9% difference in whatever game they tested.
