I know the 2 new maps coming out are not valve maps but will ttp be hosting the 2 new maps?

they are currently not valve hosted maps but as of later today with the pyro update they will become official valve maps. So I would assume that TTP will host them

If a map is officially distributed by Valve, it's in the rotation. It doesn't matter if it was made by Valve or not.

With that said, only the primary will have these maps in the rotation. They won't be in top5 unless you vote in the top5 thread to displace two existing maps to get these two in....

Well at least we have another ctf map besides 2fort that doesn't suck....

I played turbine before it was released or mentiond by valve. It was fun, but the hallways were long, and easy to get worked while escaping with the intel. Also, it always ended up in a soldier / heavy / demo spam fest in the central area. Hopefully its better now =D

I just played ctf_well earlier and its starting to shape up to be a decent map. Then again it was 2 vs 2 but I see good things coming with the new modifications. The middle is just an aired out canopy instead of that large train depot and the main buildings on each side have an easier way to gain access to the upstairs without having to run through enemy defenses, making it another inlet and outlet for both teams.

Other than the pyro stuff, the changes to CTF_Well are the most interesting part of this patch. The new maps are a lot of fun, but CTF Well being made smaller, can only help.

I can't wait to try it.

yea consulant i agree they did really well with changing ctf well and they made it easier to get the intell and easier to get to the 3rd floor
