The only way Valve can retroactively give you achievements is if they were tracking stats in fine grain detail BEFORE the achievements.... which they were not.

Some achievements are simple enough stats that they could give it to you anyway. For instance I got the 1 million healing achievement right out the door because they've been tracking total healing done since the beginning. They wouldn't track something niche like "uber someone one second before they get hit by a crit rocket/sticky" before the achievements happened.

but im starting to get mad, since the update ive got next of kindling(light enemy medic, and the target its healing) about 20 times, ive got burn ward (i think i lit about 4 with uber on fire), attention getter i didnt get yet but i have ignited a good amount of people but it still says 0. So ive got all of those, but my achievements don't say i do....its getting annoying

I've heard from other people that medic achievement is touchy, and you can't switch too fast or something. I think I got it the first time I switched back and forth between two people several times (but not quite for the entire charge duration). Haven't played pyro yet since update so can't help you there.
