I have already suggested a class limitation option in the admin mod forum just for weekends like this. Just times like this though. These update weekends are ripe with plenty of achievement whores and winning or not, its really just crapping on the atmosphere of a great place to have fun and play TF2. In the hour or two I played last nite I saw people blatntly saying theyre just in there for the achievements. Ive seen people come in and leave because of the whoring. Ive seen regulars get pissed and leave (me included).

You are right, we can just keep pestering the admins for these people but you would almost need a field marshal full time in Spectator mode to police the server this weekend. It would be better just to have the option to limit the class thats being updated for these later releases to weed out the people on the server just for achievements so the admins can have more time to contribute to the team and to take care of other matters (grievers, non-teamplayers, people in these precious limited class spots that are there just for achievements, etc...)

Admins have prepped for weekends like this, and just like before with the medic achievement pack and subsequent whoring, the trash will be taken out. An admin in spec full time isn't necessary. I just got off 2 straight maps on the server, and there were whoring problems. All you need to do is get on the mic and badger these guys until they either submit or leave. Step up, be the leader, and voice your concern. Again, if they aren't willing to submit to the rules after that, then either come to the forums, or PM an admin if you know one. A lot of admins might be online, just not in-game, but can easily connect and take care of nonteamplayers.

And what happens when the people who join and do the pyro whore dance are regs, and when you do voice up, you get shouted down?

I think we can get some done during Sniper weekend too.

I accidentally typed "Pyro right now" instead of the sniper bit before posting this. You can tell what I want to play. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping no ones playing pyro when I get on.
