I'm purchasing the game today, so I can attempt to be good at at least one TTP game. Lol. I'll see you guys on the servers and I'll probably ask for your help at some point.

thats pretty much TF2 in a nutshell. All the regs will be more than happy to help you out, glad to see yo on the sunny side of steam and BTW, SHOOT THE FUCKING MEDIC!!!! really.

Soldier seems like a good basic class. Sniper maybe. Demo maybe.

good, we could always use another medic! before you try it out, i would highly suggest reading Ewok's 3 part medic guide (first part: http://www.texasteamplayers.com/index.php?page=122) that furry little bastard's guide has saved me more times than i care to count. And soldier is a good all around class, if you need some help with that (i'm a horrid soldier, more of a scout/pyro) either catch veo/smoken on the server, they're both really good soldiers. Or send them a PM asking for pointers, I'm sure that they would be delighted to help out a new player.

As an FYI it hasn't been updated for the new medic weapons yet, which do add some new strategies
