Or some other way? I've been trying to goof around and make some movies without much success. When I use startmovie to make an avi, it creates it, but then I play the avi and only the first second is game footage. Rest is black screen.

what are you using to play them back?
VLC gives me a black screen.
Windows Media Player shows me the goods.

I am using a full version of fraps so I dont have to deal with 30 sec clips anymore.
