Pushing the "Vanilla" tag.

Now that Valve has done away with the Custom tab, I humbly request that you guys add "Vanilla" to your sv_tags list. The main steam forums are trying to push for this because good vanilla servers are very hard to find. I bet it would help a bit with traffic as well. It's a victory for everyone

I think he means that TTP plays the game as valve intended, not with 50 players, zombies, no-gravity, infinite ammo, ugly-custom maps, etc. that a (perceived?) majority of servers do.

Most typically servers will change respawn time, only play a few maps, or use all talk. The other stuff is more rare.

We arnt hurting for traffic, and anyone that knows TTP knows we play games as close to pure as we feel falls within our mandate of teamplay.

If anything our tag should be 'TTP'. Then all the vanilla servers can have the tag 'close-to-TTP-but-not-quite'

More importantly than increasing traffic, it might encourage other servers to do the same. Ideally it'll get players who join TTP to join their other vanilla servers and say "Hey, these guys use their tags for good, not evil, why don't you guys do it too?"
