Although, Its harder in TF2 than in other games, due to TF2's size, and just how its played. Thhe maps arent as big as ArmA, or 2142. And TF2 is just made more Deathmatchy than other games, not that it IS a death match, just Compared to BF, or ArmA, its deathmatchy.

In pub play you can take over or mask your tactical errors by having plain old better skill than players on the other side.

In scrims everyone is generally a good player, so it doesn't come down to outfighting the other guy. Its about getting the better position to fight in, and acking down when you don't have numbers/first shot/ground, etc.

Aggressive play in pub if you are good player means some beatdown being delivered. Aggressive play in a scrim means embarrassing yourself when you end up as a single guy versus two other players and their medic. I think its all about positioning and tactical advantage before attacking.

Me: "But the Gunslinger is so much more fun..."
Langrad: "We're here to win, not to..."
    Me: "Have fun?" "Hahaha"

In scrims it's best to be unpredictable I think. Wait in spots wouldn't normally go and choose your battles wisely.

Roger that, last time we had a scrim VS some random team that was pretty good, I kinda found myself pissed off. I sat out (we rotate when we have more than 6) cracked a beer, and then came back and did 100% better (which is still 50% less than what I needed).
