It's kinda cool. But yeah, it's a bit frustrating to have torn it up as Medic, and yet your skill level went way down because your KDR was 0.5. It's not going to stop me from going Medic, but it is a pretty glaring error in the algorithm.
I dont know how you practice in anything to become better but its not looking at stats from the past. Its getting back in the game and playing more.

NOW GET BACK ON THE FIELD SOLDER! :4

I can't play while I'm at work. I have to feed my TF2 addiction somehow.

    stats are pointless
To answer your question, TTP asks to see your Psychostats when you request a reserved slot, and TTP Clans ask to see your Psychostats when you apply for membership. I'm sure they're understand the skew if you explain that you mostly play Medic, tho.

Also, aside from the anti-Medic bias, the ELO algorithm is actually quite a nifty way to see how well you're playing. They use it in chess to crown grand masters and such.
TTP doesnt care about your kdr. Thats actually the complete opposite of what TTP cares about. Same goes for the resident clans.

I never said anything about looking at KDR. I just mean that the stats can be helpful in determining certain aspects of team play. You can tell if a person is willing to play support classes like Medic and Engineer, or if they only ever play one.
Tho obviously they're mainly looking at how much time you've spent on the server. But some people do look at the stats page, for whatever reason.

That's a little off the mark there fool. You can NEVER tell how much of a teamplayer a person is by stats. So what if a guy has 100 hours as a medic. For all we know he could be going around sawing people or syrringe gunning people instead of healing. Same goes with engys, spies, etc etc.

And a low KDR could just mean that they really really suck....not that they play support classes.

    Stats are for chumps.

If you wanna find out about teamplayers, go play with them. =)
