I dont own the game??...Steam problem

I was just playing tf2 on the ttp server (both were full at the time). I get disconnected with a message saying that my steam account does not own the game. I restart steam, and it then tells me it cant make a connection and something about vac. Now the ttp servers are empty, so I'm assuming everone else had this problem. Is this new?

Everyone had this problem including people in the land of CS:S

slowly the whole server dropped like flies...I remained the last one alive.

Ok, well first off, if this thread needs to be moved, please feel free to do so (I thought maybe this was a tf2 issue only).

Secondly, I guess it will fix itself? I really don't feel like dealing with valve/steam/____ since I haven't heard good things about their "customer service".

Yeah, everyone was just slowly being disconnected until I to got the message

Apparently were all pirating our "free" Steam accounts

I have horrible wiring at my apartment. I used to get all kinds of weird Steam errors as my connection would lag. Several times I got logged out of Steam without dropping from the game. One time this made it so I couldn't access the Load Out settings (it gave some error about not being on Steam). Other times I'd get kicked for logging in a different location. Weird stuff.
