GG's on the new version of the Bball map - screens included

Had a blast tonight on the updated Bball map. Higher ceiling and a more realistic "indoor" basketball court look. Got a lot of really funny screenshots. Worcmai is a bastard. Although he taught us all a bit about rocket jumping off the walls... it is possible to get all the way from one basket to the other if you rocket jump to the wall and then again off the wall just right.

Worcmai owns. He's got the air control down, which is the one thing I need to work at most. I think I missed about half my shots for no reason other than poor air control. The other reason was landing on the backboard and not walking off slow enough.

I don't know if it really improved my mid-air aim so much, but by the end it made rocket jumping second nature.

Oh sweet, looking forward to playing this one. And yeh, worc is an amazing midair shooter. He's like shaq in his prime rejecting people.

At some point, the teams get/got too big.

I really think 5 on 5 is too many and 4 on 4 is pushing it.

I played a game on that outdoor bball map earlier in the day and it was 2 on 2 and then 3 on 3 and the opportunity for good mid-air shots was much higher with smaller teams.

Probably only if 8 people show up instead of 24. Or possibly, when FNF starts dying as the night drags on and the crowd shrinks to 8 players, then maybe would be a good chance to switch to bball.
