Thread: Woah.

I really enjoy medic when I have good players to heal. It is really annoying when you start to heal someone then they expect you to follow them to an almost certain death. I will normally do this when on offence pushing and there is another medic, but on defense and you are pushing I can't follow you because there are more people to heal besides you and I don't have an uber yet.


A few nights ago there was one guy that was playing demo, whenever I would start healing him he would take off and try to push everyone back, I followed him a few times thinking he was just going to go up a bit, place stickies then back up. I was wrong he kept going and since I started following him I felt duty bound to keep with him, needless to say, I died every time. After a few times I quit and let him push alone so I could stay back and heal people near the cart and point that were actually defending.

I find it much more fun to heal when more than one person is using their mic and when people don't just hit the medic button the second they are out of spawn thinking it is their right to have an exclusive medic. If there is only 1 medic on a team only press the button when you actually are hurt, if you spam it when you are at full health I will normally start to ignore you and you won't get health when you need it.
