Online petition to reset stats

Ya know..theres an easy way for you guys to avoid this.

Never play on Non-TTP servers =)

I went to an achevment server for the Heavy and the pyro.... I wish I didn't do that. Why can't Valve just do this?

Maybe not in general, but that happened to me - I joined a random server, switched to medic, and got stuck in a corner with a scout. Managed to needle him, and suddenly there was an endless procession of dying scouts in front of me. So now I have 51 kills in one life as medic. Not as bad as what some people have, but not exactly legit, either. And I have real records I'm actually proud of, like 30 or 40-some kills as pyro and demo, that I would like to see recognized.

So it took 51 kills in one life for you to realize that you were on an achievement server? I have some nice legit runs that Im proud of too, so I dont think all these yokels who 'accidentally' went into achievement servers should ruin that for me.

Ummm... no, actually, I'm not quite that dumb. The server was programmed to, as soon as you killed someone, immediately spawn a dying enemy on top of where their corpse had been. I hit one scout with a couple of needles, and saw 51 scouts fall dead to the ground.

Dang... Now thats efficiency. Well I have been on an ach server and racked up 62 points in a round with a Medic, but I still believe it was my choice to flub my stats. So why should the others who have taken the time to get great legit stats be penalized for our actions?

Isn't the reset stats feature only about that player. As in I can reset my own stats and it doesn't effect you?

I was in an achievement server once for about 30 seconds, and got off...didn't get any achievements didn't do anything just left it...maybe that is the battlefield part of me but I like going for them, it gives me something to work for in game along with the win.

I personally would not reset my stats as I am proud of them, but not sure why I should care if other people want to. If it really is about the individual, I see no harm in signing the petition and letting those that want to reset go ahead and reset...

Silly ENF, noone will be penalized. VALVE used to have the option to reset your steam stats....note the keywords 'option' and 'reset'. It would be a button you could hit to reset your stats, noone will take away your mega runs.

Hello Robin

Will you ever bring back the reset stats button (working one) to us? I was being an achievement w***e and farmed bots my life in an achievement server with each class, and now I regret it.

It would make the game replayable when you try to i.e get a new record of your backstabs. I can't even do that anymore since I have a record of 31 backstabs as a Spy.

IF you will add the button back, make it possible that we can choose what specific stat we want to reset (i.e someone wants to reset everything than playing time as a Medic).

Hopefully you will read this and reply to me

PS, you should try to make the achievement farming servers disabled, since I don't other people to mess up their stats pretty bad (well, there's a whole 20+ paged thread about this on steam forums)...
