Thread: Server Access

I thought I had played on the TF2 TTP servers but I guess I haven't. It's telling me that I don't have a reserved slot when I attempt entry. Is the server pay-for-play only or is it VIP listing? When I head to the server tab it displays this IP: 72.233.44.146:27019.

it's a vip thing that you can pay to get
it's set so the max that can be on is 22 people, that way the ones with reserved slots can connect without getting kicked because the "server is full"

so if there are 21 or less you can get on... it's just that the servers are pretty popular so it can be hard to find it

also if you are unlucky you could be kicked if a reservist connects when there are 22 people

indeed, those of us without a nice source of disposable income generally start playing tf2 and sit around refreshing until someone leaves :3

All of TTP's servers offer Reserved Slots with the exception of the COD games and Left for Dead (at least as far as I can tell; I know the COD games don't). Vik's correct.. CoD games and L4D (so far) don't have reserve slots, but the rest do. Worth the cost!

That's exactly how my practice server acts. Although they don't leave the 2 extra slots for reservists, that's a great idea I should recommend to them!
