Who can make the best pug team

Since the settings only allow one medic per team and only six players to a team, there's not a lot of options for me. My pyro game isn't good enough for that level of play (and some maps aren't nice to pyros to begin with), and engineer seems to be pretty weak in that format, too. Heavy is fun, but limited. I just have more fun when the teams are a little larger, like 8v8 or 10v10.

6v6 arena would be a lot of fun, but I know a lot of people don't like arena for whatever reason. I really enjoy playing it when an arena map manages to get voted into rotation on the primary server, though.

Yeah, I think getting together a couple large groups together (4 8-10 person groups) to just have a regular semi-formal tournament would be fun. Maybe we could pick team captains and have them pick from a big group of people, like we do in normal pugs? If we get regular puggerz who know most players, we should get some pretty even teams. It'd be different from just any old pug because it'd be slightly more formal, which I think could be fun!

Also Pizza, if you're not interested in this format, I suggest trying to find others who share your desire to play arena and maybe making a group similar to puggerz?

FNF is a group with bigger teams and more classes variety than 6v6, no?

I don't have a server to use for those purposes, so that's probably not going to happen. I haven't been able to make FNFs recently due to my work schedule, though maybe that'll change if I can ever get the other asshole working this shift to fucking be consistent with the days he can work week-to-week.

I would be more excited if this were a tourney where you had to represent 1 of each class.

That always sounds like fun. I get PUG's all the time so it's not a big deal in that regard.

Mainly, I just wouldn't be able to play in this because I get home at 9:00 CST, it's only 4 here though. I'm not sure how many others would be affected though...

I think it'd be more fun if everyone had to choose Random as their class and stick with it for the entirety of the round. Woe to the team that ends up with me as Sniper.

I think swift meant a random player scrim tournament, not a 10 player random class match....
