If the Spy got the Tranquilizer instead of the ambassador

Pros
1. When this hits an enemy it causes a 5 second or so slowing effect until the enemy is hit again with a normal weapon. Allowing the spy to escape from enemies like pyros and such.
2. Crits will disable enemies use of weapons for 3 seconds, a handy tool when making a getaway.

Cons
1. Non-lethal weapon, you can only use this for escape purposes.
2. 4 round clip.

Summary: This will provide you with a way to escape enemies which will allow a different way to play the spy.

Thoughts?

I'm sensing it being overpowered. Combined with a skilled player and a Dead Ringer you would literally be invincible...

one problem, you could backstab them while they are paralyzed very easily, you just shoot then and go around and stab, WAY to overpowered....
and if you make it so you cant backstab while they are in that state then you can just wait intill it rins out behind them, it would only be ok if there were others around. But it makes the spy way to easy, and spam able as well, imagine a wall of spys shooting it and then backspabing everyone, it would be a nightmare!

Hm, true, maybe when it hits you can't crit people? :/

Which means you can't back stab anyone while they are tranqulized.

They can still shoot you though, their sensitivity won't change, but as far as how fast they can move, they'll be significantly slowed down.

Yea, a little better because how it stops when you receive damage...but really you would not have enough time to turn around when it does...

I think that's why they scrapped it. They may have tried it out(in testing) and realized it wasn't worth it. The spy needs the pistol or he's defenseless.
