Thread: Disallowed on TTP after using certain servers?

Not that I don't trust you lucky, but I would like a high to weigh in...i would certainly hope that's not the case...that could send away so many future TTP regs....

It would really depend on the time played on said servers. It is highly situational though and depends on the events that occur. As such each person is treated differently and on a case by case basis.

It is best to really just drop it. Just know that there will most likely be consequences if you choose to play at the other 2 places that shall not be named. And that is all I'll say on the matter as we've been over this countless times before.

Although I understand that you don't want proplr going there, it'd really be nice to know exactly why, to new people, instead just "No, don't."

From my understanding, an admin will not go out to chase the player down and ask him what his affiliations with the community in question are. The admin simply bans the player, and if the player is really interested in being part of TTP he comes to the forums where the issue is resolved rather quickly, if he behaves. If the player is not interested or thinks this is unfair... well tough luck, TTP has better things to do than listen to your whining about the rules.

What most of these players don't seem to realize is that a ban is not the end of your relations with TTP, it's not the end of the bloody world. If you calmly state your case, agree to the terms that TTP presents, you'll be back in the servers in no time at all.

All these threads are really pointless because everything is simply being repeated over and over and ends with a locked thread anyway. If you really have a question, PM someone who knows. And the people that know...their names are highlighted in RED.

He doesn't want to know why TDR is, and what our problem with them is. Hes simply asking if their is a penalty to visiting their servers by accident.

Obviously the answer is that people do this often - I know I did back when I wasn't active on the forums and played CSS. I just looked for the server with the texas in its name. So I would often join it if TTP was full.

Lets say someone who has never heard of TTP joins a TDR server or whatever, then plays on a TTP server, then signs up at the site, then links his stats to his profile and someone spots TDR gametime in there...is that bannable?

I know the same thing happened to gid, if I remember correctly
