No I just disagree with riot a little bit, I respect his tactics though, since were both good.

Its always interesting to read how other spys do things etc. We all spy differently.

Me too, the dead ringer is loouuuuuuuuuuuuuuud. But I guess it's necessary, considering you can feign death. But still it'd be nice if you let it all drain it'd be as quiet as the regular watch instead of always sounding like the heavy just farted.

No I meant the C&D not Dead Ringer. And I just seem to detect uncloaking Spies more nowadays and attribute it to greater use of the C&D

All the good spies pretty much think its crap. The positives just dont outweigh the negatives.

Aka the loudest fucking sound in the world that people can hear and call out halfway across the map.

Dead Ringer might be good for non-spy activities. Like if you have one last push and they know you have only one medic. You feign death on yourself as a medic and they think that they won the game. Or blocking rocket fire on a defensive sentry gun.

The volume of cloaking and decloaking was raised for the two "regular" watches. On the Spy / Sniper update.

C&D takes longer to get used to, but you're more able to assess the right situation since you basically have forever for it to present itself. I used C&D exclusively since the update, but have since switched and like the normal watch better.

EDIT: I did a test and it takes about 30 seconds to recharge, regardless of whether you're cloaked or not. That's fast though?

It used to be 22.5 seconds and I think they made it faster to 18 now, but haven't checked.

Dead Ringer is really good for keeping intel alive. Just about nothing short of a pyro air blast can stop you from moving it one more inch.
