As if they aren't extremely easy to kill with it anyway (Though it is handy). The Razorback protects you from one weapon from one direction from one class, one time. In my opinion, it's rarely worth trading 15% of your speed and most of all, the SMG for a small bit of defense. I get far more kills with the SMG/assists with Jarate than I get killed by backstabs as Sniper.

So, really, I think the equipment that seriously needs a buff is the Razorback, not the Ambassador. Though it would be cool if the Ambassador was changed so it was like a real hand cannon, maybe with that idea to have it reload individual bullets like shotguns.
I'd like that too, imagine a single action revolver that loads the traditional way, and fires slower than the Revolver we already have. Always accurate, hits hard, but fires so slow that in direct confrontations you'll leave yourself defenseless until you can fire your next shot, and if you manage to hit them. Wouldn't be great for combat, but for stealth purposes...it'd be much better. A -30% or lower firing speed means that you won't be allowed to run around shooting everyone, you can but you'll die faster than you can say "fail".

I understand why anyone wouldn't want it to be buffed but think about it, it'd still require the spy to aim his gun. Getting head shots with the Ambassador is not as easy as you think unless you have no life and play css so much that aiming for head shots is like a second nature. In which case I applaud you, cause that's skill.

Last update I read said the Razorback didn't have the movement speed debuff on it anymore. But I still agree, Jarate is much more effective. And to be honest, close range revolver, hitting 1 or 2 times anywhere usually kills a sniper or brings him very very very low.

Personally if I'm sniping and someone misses a backstab or I see them coming, the gun isn't going to help them. My club seems to crit 80% of the time. =)

The Engi's wrench is the worst....like death's sickle.

But yeah, I only use the razorback when I'm using the huntsman cause I'm usually pushing the cart with my team in that situation. Otherwise I use jarate cause it's hilarious. The Razorback probably could use a buff.

And the Amby, please make it a hand cannon instead of a pea shooter compared to the revolver.

Does the Ambassador need to be reworked or buffed?

Eh. It's still very useful, but moreso on offense. Find a nice spot overlooking that engy, and avoiding his gun... One-Two, the engy is down.

As I said before, it gives the spy long range assassination. And because of the headshots, it's better in those cases. It loses out in mid-range combat.

Well...I managed to play online yesterday with the amby and well....I guess it doesn't really need a buff. Head shotting with it is difficult, but what's even harder is trying not to spam the ambassador. If you wait for it to cool down before each shot you'll have a better chance at killing them. Oh and retreating helps too, if they follow you they'll be easier to headshot since you can better predict where their head will be. Say going underground through the sewer in gold rush, or up the stairs by point E in steel. Only spam in moments of desperation where your death is most likely to happen. Otherwise, stay calm take aim, and fire at the head.

You can now tell me I'm a noob and need to l2a.
