Well I spent some time n00bin it up in the TTP TF2 servers, and it was fun as hell!

Brings back memories, actually... TFC was the first FPS I ever played online, way back in the 20th century dial-up days.

when you play medic your the boss. If you are getting killed and you need help let someone know that they need to stay with you. If you dont have a heavy ask someone to go heavy and tell them you will heal them. Just like in real life do you tell the doctor what to do?

I hear ya brother.... been there done that. If no one is helping you out being medic (there are players who will) then screw 'em. I've jumped on as medic and the same thing so I switched and just ignored the complainers. You cant complain unless you are willing to do something about it. Let them know you'll switch if TEAMWORK will follow. Their logic of we dont need xyz if flawed if nobody stays with ya.

When that kind of shit happens, get on the mic and bitch about it and if the teamplay isn't improved because everyone is doing their own thing and couldn't care less about working as a team, tell the admin (@ message) sends to admin. TTP isn't about a whole team of lonewolves going where ever the hell they want, its about teamwork and that non teamplaying every man for himself shit will get put to bed right away.

With soldiers, a lot of times they will rocket jump because it hurts them which in turn fills up your uber charge at a faster rate. Keeping up with them as you said however is a pain in the ass. If they know what they are doing, they will stay with you and rocket jump along.
