Re: Server Suggestion
Eh, I found the remark about using graphs to be more professional condescending. Of course that ties into the whole concept of quantitative evaluation seemingly being the only thing of value. Statistics are interesting but they never guarantee an accurate prediction. You already admitted that the servers don't just host the most popular maps (2 Fort) for a reason, being that The TTP TF2 community does not like that map, thus qualitative reasoning has been valued over quantitative reasoning before obviously. Yet, here we are being told that only numbers put into graphs matter. A graph showing you that certain maps are popular in general is not going to tell you whether a server hosting those maps will have the desired effect you want. CP maps are popular and so are PL maps but in the end the only way we will ever truly know if a server hosting strictly one or the other will bring in what we want is to actually try it.

Re: Server Suggestion
Its cool if the 24/7 server is experiencing success and all..
But just to build up the case for a slightly different map config - Just a second ago I was looking to join a TTP server. The regular and Top5 servers were full and I was about to prime 24/7 when I realized that I would be playing on maps I don't enjoy too much, so thus I decided not to prime.

I leave when Hoodoo comes on...I've had it with these payload maps...but somehow I don't mind badwater.
Arena? Puhlease!
KoTH? meh..no thanks.
Attack/defend/5cp? yes man, that's where teamwork shines. Simple. And it's not a giant spamfest, well it still is kinda when packed but at least requires some teamwork and is interesting."Political Correctness is a cancer to our Society and a Direct Threat to our free speech," The Oozish One
