question about retail tf2

Spawn allowed multiple copies of the game to play online on a "limited" account type deal. You can only join games, you can't create any on your own and something else was restricted too... plus no single player. But it worked fine if you had multiple PCs you wanted to play online with.

Unfortunately, no one has "spawn" copies available on their games these days. Team Fortress 2 will definitely require you to purchase two copies of the game for two players to play together online.

On another note... you might be able to find one of those friend 'trial' accounts though to give him 48 hours of play time.

ok, that is scary, I have that exact thing sitting on my desk RIGHT NOW.

It's so awesome, three simultaneous installs, never an trouble getting the license authenticated on re-install. Best piece of MS software I've bought in a long time. That is except for the copies of XP and Vista I got for frees from MSDN

Went out and bought another copy for my friend, so with any luck you'll see him on some time soon if he ever listens to me. I keep telling him tf2 is so much better on the pc.

He hasn't, he's just being finicky. He's never played on the pc before except starcraft I think.

Hopefully on Monday and Tuesday he'll play when I'm at college.
