new to TF2

Hello all, I thought I would say hi...just got the game will be playing on Friday night...due to work stuff...hopefully you can show this noob the ropes...any decent advise would be appreciated

A tip eh? Well how about just be a teamplayer, and if you think about your team before you make any choices (like class

), then you'll do a lot better then thinking about yourself

You know, thats probably the best advice. You can never go wrong with playing soldier, demo, or medic. Just ask your team when you get in the server and I'm sure the TF2 regs here would be more than happy to help out! :9

I'd recommend soldier medic and engineer (just ask where to place your sentry)... Demo can be difficult for newer players unless you are only using stickies.

Communicate well with your mic! Be a medic initially to learn how things flow in the game. As medic, stick to a heavier class like a soldier or heavy so they can protect you while you build your uber.

TF2 is way different than just about any other FPS. try all the classes find your niche.
