I first heard about TTP in an Amazon review for Battlefield 2, of all things. Before that, the only online FPS I had played was Battlefield 1942. I was a big fan of it, but the game is just so old in online terms that there were only a few consistently active servers. Any time a few of the BIHnet regs and I would get together with teamwork, it was a load of fun. When I heard about TTP, I immediately wanted to try a game that it hosted because in general, games are much more engaging when people are working together rather than running around like a very well-armed mob.

Since then, it's been a very positive community overall for me and it's shown a stark contrast to the rest of the folks out there. I didn't think about etiquette nearly as much before, but now I'm legitimately bothered by people cussing each other out and going ballistic over unimportant matters.
