change your field of view (FOV) to 90 peeps!

I see a lot of people using default 75 fov, change it to 90 (max). You'll see more and consequently both your game and your team's game will improve.

See more = call out more, especially spies and flankers.

Go to options, multiplayer, and change it to 90. Or bring down console (~ key) and type fov_desired 90

I have a 16:10 monitor, but if you run in window mode you can set it to a 16:9 resolution. That's what I do to get the extra FOV.

Also, keep this in mind when fighting spies with higher FOV settings: You will get a lot more "facestabs". The spy can easily be on your screen and still stab you (possible on the default, but happens much more often on 90), but at least you'll see them coming before you die.

So I hope I'm preemptively quieting the increase of crying "facestab"!! :5

But yes, everyone should increase to 90. After switching, you feel stupid for ever playing at 75.

Alright, when I first did this, it really fucked with my depth perception. cause of my viewmodel. Dragging the viewmodel to the max in the settings fixed it fine, and I now know the beauty of the field of view
