    Same thing here... glad to know it's not just me aswell. I was getting frustrated closing this and that trying to fix it but to no avail.

    this has to be a known issue, or i hope it is.

    I tired turning off the steam cloud and tried turning off multi-core.... same effect. I think 85-95% of tf2 players are experiencing this right now. They are probably hunting the bug with knife in teeth as we speak.

    if you dont want to disable steam community in-game. then you could try defragmenting tf2... might help.
