How to use the TF2 Priming Group.
With the TPG TF2 Steam Community group you can announce when the server is being primed to all regulars online. So when you hop on the server everyone will know, It's time to play.
Steam Community :: Group :: Texas...TeamPlayers...TF2
Step 1-Open your Steam Community control panel.
Desktop: right click your steam icon and select "Community."
In-Game: Press Shift & Tab (default) at the same time to bring up your steam overlay, then click your steam avatar in the bottom right corner.
Then Click Home
Step 2-Click "Schedule an Event."

Step 3- Select this group.
Step 4-Fill in the basic information, select now, and click save.
Now you're done, Go play.Last edited by insanegammer109; 06-10-11 at 06:51 PM.

Re: How to use the TF2 Priming Group.
That's a pretty cool trick but I have to ask.... can I opt out of being alerted? When I am priming/playing on another game the alert comes up and blocks my view. Aggravating as hell. I'm not complaining, just wondering if there is an option for me to opt out. I get like 3 or 4 a night, every night.

Re: How to use the TF2 Priming Group.
(Updating year old post)
At one point this had its own sticky then was quoted in a combined sticky for "LoneStar/How to use the priming group"
I guess that was unstickied when we stopped using LoneStar, I updated it for the new Steam UI (Since they made it less obvious how to do it from ingame)
Just useful information, do with it what you want.Last edited by insanegammer109; 06-10-11 at 06:52 PM.
