Hey Soldiers! Do you use Gunboats?

In pubs all the time. Not really in matches - im not good enough. It just really catches people off guard. And on attack defend maps i can get like 4-5 people chasing me around way behind enemy line for a long time. I honestly play it like I would as a scout. Sneak past their lines. Kill tele entrances, pick off people as they respawn, then RJ away for health. Its also nifty for taking out that sniper whos sitting back behind enemy lines.

Note that this strategy is completely uselss if they have a SG though because the knockback kill all forward air momentum.

Most people arent good at hitting targets in the air, and it really punishes people who forget to look up. Very useful for getting the medic then just flying around while the enemy team is just staring at me in the air and missing - while my team is shooting them.

I have seen them used in scrims a few times and it really makes for a different mid might, when a solly is getting to mid at the same time as the scouts. Like Cprice said, lots of potential, it just depends on your teams style.

I love the gunboats! Sure, I'm not what would be considered a good soldier, but it really helps me with the rocket jumping. Great training tool... forces you to use that weapon.
