Thread: issue with patch

i downloaded the patch tried to connect to the servers and just tells me "connection failed after 4 retries". Now i can get into a local game like tr_walkway. I reloaded tf2 and it still does the same thing. Is there anyone else with this issue or now how to fix it.

well it turns out it had something to do with windows firewall. not sure what changed. i will have to mess with it later.

I had to disable the HTML MOTD in the multiplayer options in order to play on TPG. I could join any other server, but TPG just crashed every time until I turned it off.

I have a problem in that my character moves slow and other people rubberband around. This even happens when I create a server and play on it with the same machine. I have no idea why this is happening. I uninstalled TF2 and reinstalled and still have the same problem. It's frustrating to play because someone else as heavy has faster run-speed than my soldier.
