damm dude don't you have more important things to worry about than if the eng update will make spy harder. Think of it this way if the make it harder to play spy that just less noobs we have to deal with. i for one would be up to the challenge.

Re: My hopes for the Engineer update
I don't even mind if it makes playing Spy slightly harder. Like smoke said, there would be less noobs making the real Spies' jobs harder.
What I want in the Engie update would be some way to deal with stickies. When I'm playing Engie those are the most annoying things to deal with atm. Some sort of airblast would be cool...
And a jetpack doesn't sound half bad either...To clear any confusion: Xanthur34 is my username, but Soleg is my Steam name.

Deal with stickies? Well, they are destructible. Once you see a sticky you should have some team call and get some support while shooting the 1 or 2 you see. If the demo is ubered you'd be doomed anyway.
I love the idea of a paintable target system! Probably overpowered though, but that would be sweet.
My hope for ngie has always been throwable lvl 1 sentries, where they stick to wherever you throw them. Maybe you can have 2 to throw. EPIC.

All I could think about while reading your post was Warren Spector's upcoming Wii game. LOL, I need more coffee.
It could work for TF2, tho, sans the awkward remote waving.Happiness is a roiling fermenter.
