Lol, same here. With the buff banner it helps with valves prime directive with TF2, communication!!!! Also, I run with the pain train for the same reason as Wats... and I dont know how many times Ive jumped on the cart and then watch the other people scram when they see a soldier on the cart instead of a scout, ha ha.

It's definitely a disadvantage for the person using it. I have to hold myself back and let my team do a lot of the work while I play somewhat conservatively to build up the rage.
Once you get it going though... you can pretty much expect to wipe out anyone standing in your team's path.

A buff banner Soldier is like a Medic: you have to protect them while they get their charge and then reap the rewards once they activate it. I don't think it's too useful on 5cp maps because the action is so back and forth, but on maps that have some stalemate-prone areas (pushing last on Badwater against a team that setup well) it is very valuable.

Buff Banner is meh on CP maps. It's fairly good on CTF, and very nice on payload. I usually use the buff banner if I'm playing solly on payload Defense or CTF. It really helps with pushing a team off the cart/driving into their intel room.
