Thread: Anyone good with HUDs?

I recently installed the latest CommunityHUD but there are some minor issues with it that I'd like to fix.

First problem is the scoreboard is too much to the right. Minor complaint I know, but every time I press tab I'm bugged by it.



Second and more important problem is the control point HUD on 5cp maps is way too big. This one is actually distracting during gameplay and I'd like to reduce the cp icons by half if not more.



So I'm looking for anyone who knows how to work with HUDs to help me out here. I've tried googling various guides but haven't found anything to deal with these to problems.

my community hud is working pretty fine, but the scoreboard is a little too short.

For 1), try going into tf\resource\ui and just deleted the scoreboard and you can use the default one I think. Not as pretty but will at least be centered.

For 2), go into tf\resource\ui again and try deleted the file ControlPointIcon.res
That should revert tf2 to just using the built in control pt icons which are smaller.
