What do you think of mini-sentries?

I kinda wish the FJ had a full clip, but I can see why Valve chose not to.

Then again, I never see an enemy Engineer with revenge crits last long in the first place.

If my guns up i use my pistol almost all the time or I repair my gun. If my gun is about to die, run back and pull out the FJ, anyone who tried to persuit get a face full of metal.
The only thing that would make me change back is if they nerfed it to minicrits.

Honestly, I think I'd like the FJ more if I got minicrits instead of full crits along with a full 6 shot clip.

A 3 shot clip basically makes the FJ useless without the Revenge Crits.

Then again, wouldn't really be doing much justice for your destroyed sentry now would it?

Reloading too often is my main issue with it. I go through three shots so fast. Also, I like my pistol, given that it's a ranged option. It combos better with the mini sentry, honestly, and lets you do good damage at long range.

Played a few hours exclusively using the FJ (and a pistol) and I have to say, it's pretty darn fun to use! Killing Demos, Soldiers, and Heavies with Revenge Crits is just oh so satisfying. What I found is this, if an enemy gets close enough for the mini to shoot him I pull out the FJ and land one or two normal shots on them, then the mini usually takes care of the rest, reload a quick one or two shots back, rinse and repeat. Use the pistol if enemies are too far away/distracted and for emergencies. Worked out pretty well for me!

So really, it's a perfect sidegrade I think. It's got some negatives, but also some nice positives! The vanilla shotgun is still very nice though, I might use that if I find myself not getting much revenge.

My favorite part of the FJ for me though is it's look. The elongated barrel, engravings, and technical modifications make it look like a weapon from BioShock! A lame reason to like it, but oh well

I soooo wanted this feature in the update...I thought it was the best idea for mini sentries (stickable); Regarding reloading the sg, you have to make every shot count!

Minis should have unlimited ammo for as weak as they are.

Make them throwable (short arcing distances) - and make them stick to walls...win.

Im having a lot of fun with minis. Its still crazy how many kills you can rack up when people arent paying attention. Its also a great way to get out of a jam. There have been a handful of times when a pyro or heavy will drop from above and Ill just drop a mini to distract them and turn tail to get away. Instantly they go for the mini. Its like a moth to a light...
