The demo needs a "brute shot" Like the one in Halo. One bounce, then next impact explodes. Increase the speed of the pill, decrease a little damage, and shapow! you got yourself a long range exterminator!

I've always thought a good replacement for the pistol for the Engineer would be a nailgun that can repair your buildings from a distance. Each nail fired would be equal to 5 pieces of metal and the rate of fire would be similar to the medigun.
The downside to this is that it can't upgrade the building and when you're out of metal, you're out of bullets.

A replacement for the minigun which shoots a lazer that is very thin. It does half the damage of the mingun, but has little damage fall off.

Actually, a better one would be like the void ray from starcraft 2. Thin lazer that becomes more powerful the longer you are hitting something. If it stops touching someone then it loses its charge and you have to start over. No damage falloff. Gives the heavy a high skill cieling by rewarding good aim and tracking, and gives him some viability at longer range.

The demo needs a wrecking ball melee replacement. Along the lines of the homewrecker - but does double dmg to buildings and half dmg to players. It also swings 30% slower.

You know...since he's a DEMOLITIONS man...and not a Celtic Warrior in an MMO...

    THE VENUS SPY TRAP....

A sticky "carpet" that an engie could lay down to trap spies. They could jump over but if they weren't careful they could run over it after sapping. It would have the slowing effect of Natacha.

I like this, but it'd have to be near invisible, or any semi-worthwhile spy could EASILY avoid it.

    Epic! O.O
Oh but the charge shouldnt completly go away if you start missing, but have a few seconds between bursts so you can keep the effect up and attack other people with it.

Re: If you could make your own item for TF2 what would it be?

Soldier - Shocket Rifle - A rocket launcher bolted to a gun. Primary fire would shoot slow moving rockets with a slow rate of fire that is weaker and has less splash than the current RL. Secondary fire would shoot a bullet that does moderate damage with a slow rate of fire similar to an un-zoomed sniper rifle shot. When you shoot your rocket with the secondary fire... it blows up in mid air making a massive explosion. Other players can blow your rockets up in mid air too... possibly in your face as you launch them. As a bonus, if you kill too many people in this way using a combination of the primary and secondary fire... the announcer calls you a combo whore.

Soldier - Rocket Pod - Self explanatory, a pod of smaller rockets. It has more rockets per clip than the RL, faster rate of fire, faster rocket travel speed, Less damage and splash than the RL. It would give the soldier -25/50 hp and would boost his movement speed. Rocket jumps would also be equivalent to using the gunboats. You are basically giving up some HP and punch/splash to gain speed, mobility, and accuracy. Taunting with the weapon would let off a whole salvo of rockets in true shock and awe style.

Demo - The Noob Tube. A spamtastic grenade launcher where the grenades don't bounce but instead explode on impact with the ground (or anything else). Would have more arch, slower projectiles (hence less range) and do less damage than the current pipe launcher, it would also possibly have damage falloff. Why? Cus every FPS need people who suck whining about noob tubers.

Sniper - The Marksman - A battle rifle. Think M1 garand style semi auto rifle. Would have a ~10 round clip with a medium to fast fire rate and deal moderate damage (30-50 per shot). There would be no charging up. The sniper would have to look down the sights to get head shots that would be mini crits or crits depending on what the base damage is (and would slow him down similar to zooming in but not as much). A head shot would not instagib any class. No damage falloff. Such a gun as The Marksman will bring interesting and intriguing debates from other FPS games to TF2 such as "Are auto snipers truly for no skill noobs or are you a scrub who should stfu and l2p?".

Scout - The Eazyville Slugger - A Louisville Slugger that minicrits to the head and if used for the killing hit, causes the head to gib... you know; so you can bash their head in with a louisville slugger. It has a slower attack speed.

Scout - The Lucky Punk - The most powerful handgun in the world and would blow your head clean off. Big damage, slow fire rate. Does not have a round counter so you have to ask yourself, "Did I fire six shots or only five?" Rail gun from Quake with damage falloff... gg.

Scout - Mann Co. Industrial Strength Lube - The scout has been without this common courtesy for long enough. All the lame guns/stuff that knocks the scout around and take away his one strength, his movement, will simply slide through the scout's flesh like a painfully hot knife though butter. Mann Co. Industrial Strength Lube offers a safe* alternative to staggering about like a bomb throwing drunk in the presence of La Fem Natasha or bashing your head against the closest available object like a grunt who found a shovel when facing those morons and their stupid crap. Mann Co. Industrial Strength Lube comes with a lifetime** guarantee not to wear out or wear off.

*Mann Co. is not responsible for death or serious injuries sustained while using Mann Co. Industrial Strength Lube. Users should avoid exposure to open flames. If exposed to flame while using Mann Co. Industrial Strength Lube, please call our hot line at 1-800-respawn or allow the fire to burn out naturally.
**Mann Co. defines a "lifetime" as equal to 125 hit points.
