Message to Regs, please do not choose random

When you connect to the server and choose a team, do not choose random. Check the scoreboard, see who's on the teams, and choose based on that information. All too often the random option will lead to stacked teams.

You can't join the team you want to anyway for whatever reason, you can't stack number wise. Even if the team with more people is loosing, you won't be able to join it.

I find random is the least biased way to make it even. There is always going to be that game where it just happens to be uneven. It just happens...

I always random and look at the current situation on the server. If the other team is getting killed, I'll switch. Its usually a matter of seconds between the above and my way.

This has been discussed before and as a general rule you should always random join. See what's up and switch if it's really lopsided. It always pisses me off to see people deliberately join red/blue.

I do random maybe half the time. There are certain people I love playing with and some people I love to face off against (Ooze, the TPG regular spies, Sketch, the Klutch guys, Veovis) and choose my team accordingly.

Here's my take on this: Random if a server changes to a new map and you are one of the first to connect. After about 8 people have randomed up, choose the lesser stacked team.

Probably the best way to put it, random is ok, but sometimes....well, like I said, it's a bit stacked.
