Wow, that's pretty funny while explaining a lot of what I see in competitive games. It's weird how people create rules for themselves because they think they have dignity or something ridiculous. The rules are already in the game. Play by those.

So it's wrong to have a sense of dignity amongst some of the more skilled players here at TPG? Why do you think I used the Baur in 2142 instead of the Voss? Because it's a challenge to use properly. And typically, I like to push myself further and further, I feel it's more rewarding that way. The Dead Ringer is easy mode, at least it feels like it. It's like playing CoD singleplayer and being able to survive 3x the normal amount of bullets before showing red.

Honestly, I think you should whore it up with the dead ringer and see how long it takes for all these guys to scream nerf.

I have no problem using Natascha no matter how much people QQ. It is fun to play when there are a bunch of scouts, pyros, or sword n board demos around. The really good players will dodge out of it, and out damage me. I feel that I am doing everyone a favor by using it, and forcing them to become better. It then forces me to change tactics once they do step up their game.

I see Spies who "main" DR and laugh at them, you should not be "maining" anything. You should use what you think will give you the most success.
I agree completely. And, oddly enough, DR is wicked overpowered so it naturally gives me the most success. I can rack up kills without even paying attention and be as disruptive as possible with the DR without having to see a "spawning" screen. I'd say that is exactly what I want to accomplish as a spy.

If you can do the same thing with another less effective tool, fine go ahead. It's more of like when you play CoD 5 and use a bolt rifle instead of an SMG when SMG's were clearly more effective but you play with some kind of "code of honor". I use what ever is the best weapon I can find, and tbh, from the last week I've been playing more often, I've NEVER seen a DR SpY be even close to decent. I don't see what all the fuss is about. When it first came out, you could tank over 3k damage I think, and when they nerfed that people thought it was USELESS. And now (not sure what changes it's got cept for metal pickup) it's godlike?

As long as you can get to metal before it wears off you are effectively invincible.

    1. Harass
    2. Feign death
    3. Pick up metal
    4. goto 1

Yup, pretty much nothing but a Pyro can ruin your day. And that's only if they're smart enough to airblast you into a corner.

Yup that's exactly the point. It is weird.
