Re: Favorite Map and Why?
Atilla, go die you sniping whore, gpit sucks big donkey dick. Badlands is my favorite map because in pubs every single class is viable in almost any situation, even using stupid troll-y weapon layouts. I like it because I can play any class I want, in almost any style I want, and still have fun.

Re: Favorite Map and Why?
Badwater, best Spy map in the game and overall is just a lot of fun. Sniping on that map is fantastic and it's one of those maps where you feel like you deserved the victory if you win, regardless of what side you're on.
I'm growing quite fond of Thundermountain and Upward though, the only part of both maps I don't like is the last areas. When on thundermountain on Blu, the last area is borderline impossible. You really need to get your shit together to win on that section. As for Upward, the last point is very tight quarters and often I'll die just because it's hard to go anywhere. But, I'll figure something eventually.

Re: Favorite Map and Why?
Oh Hightower for sure! I just love that map, so many possiblities in such a small area! If you have 2 pretty good teams working together it makes for a good, long, amazing match. There is never much boring waiting time. Plus PLR is prolly the coolest idea of a game mode, except the only other offical one is pipeline, which is a decent one but the 3rd area ruins it.
Though a close second would have to be Freight (new). Its just a good solid map and it isnt overplayed like most of the other ones. I hate how the old freight scared everyone away, the new one is so much better! Plus I love seeing competitive matches on it, though they always seem to only be defending the last cap most of the time, when the middle cap is my favorite part since it has so many possibilities for conflict.

Re: Favorite Map and Why?
Badwater is a standard map, as is Dustbowl. Thundermountain is very nice, given how large it is for a 2-point PL map set, and Upward is something I have mixed feelings over.
Last area on Thundermountain is easy for BLU if RED doesn't put their stuff together, but if Red puts a good defense on A or B, then BLU will have a very tough time breaking it.
Badlands is another classic map, but Gpit is too soldier/demo spammy for me.
I really do like Badwater best.Last edited by Cheshire Cat; 09-30-10 at 12:38 PM.
