lol, it cracks me up, people talking about TF2 economy, hats, etc. Sounds similar to customizing cars. Some stuff is functional, some is cosmetic, all based on what people place value on.

Yes, but those 24-26 keys have to enter the market SOMEHOW. Which means at some point, someone paid money for them, and Valve made $120-130.

I agree with smoke; Valve knows what they are doing. They also like trolling the economy, which would explain why the super popular stranges are SUPER RARE.

Is there a way to search for strange weapons on tf2tp.com? I can select them from my backpack to create a trade but when I try to say what I want (or am searching for what I want), I dont see the strange selection. I see vintage, genuine, etc... just no strange.

Short answer: no.

tf2outpost.com has a noticeably better interface, but its prices tend to have a slight premium (probably because of the nicer interface) compared to tf2tp and the Steam forums.
