I like the night theme, but it needs to be brighter. It looks very L4D-ish. Study Doublecross for good lighting on a nighttime map.
One of the worst-lit spots in the official maps is the left exit for Blu on the last stage of Goldrush—the entire area under the truck, basically. I cannot count the number of times I have happily trotted up to a shadowy Red a-hole in that area with my Medigun ready only to be mowed down b/c I couldn't make out their team color.Happiness is a roiling fermenter.
