Re: TF2 Blog: Monday Night Combat
It's a fun game. It's not really like TF2 at all. You have a nexus base, and "bots" push down pre determined lanes to get there. you kill bots to get more money, which lets you buy better defenses for your base and upgrade your skills. all this happens in one match though. you don't upgrade your skills across multiple games. definantly worth the money.
Me: "But the Gunslinger is so much more fun..."
Langrad: "We're here to win, not to..."
Me: "Have fun?" "Hahaha"

Its pretty fun. I was gifted the game and I like it.
You can escort bots, by healing them, protecting them. You can go rogue and shoot crap. Tank with the bots and mow down other bots. Play sniper, or play assassin, which is a lot like spy, but with speed and aim being important.
You protect a "money ball" which is a base of sorts. You can build turrets, a lot of them actually, 4 diff kinds.
You attack a "money ball" which ha s a shield that is really hard to take down as a regular class, thats why you have to escort the bots to it. They kill the shield, but everyone can hurt the ball when the shield is down, players and bots. Shield re-gens if the ball isnt touched after a while.
It is fun, playing it to any serious capacity like we do TF2 wouldn't probably be too fun, but I bet its a whoot with some buddies.
