I'm amazed you're comparing BRINK to TF2, BRINK is more like CoD and BF in terms of gameplay. TF2 is obviously more Quake style, two completely different styles of shooters.

Yeah, and you think "smart" isn't going to get the shit spammed out of it? I can just see getting gayed by players spamming sliding all over the place luck shotting you...Every time you turn the corner on someone its gonna be who can hit the smart key and get the lucky head shot first....I'm hoping im wrong but from the looks of it smart looks to spammable.

And nobody compared tf2 to brink wats...we just said it's looking like it might be a good game, which in turn would kill tf2.

Just because it's a good game doesn't mean it'll kill TF2, people who still enjoy it will continue to play it or come back to it, those who don't well, they'll find something else till Valve releases TF3 or fixes a large majority of the unlocks.

looks like Crysis 2 has a sliding mechanic similar to brink; brink is more you can run around on everything up or down by looking that direction. Everyone will have the same movement abilities. Looks fun to me but we'll see.
