Yeah we tend to rtv when the map gets long. But dont shorten it because sometimes you want to play the whole map, so Id like to have options then be forced to play short maps, when we can choose whenever we want to switch it regardless.
And on subject, Egypt sucks because the walks are too long, combined with too long of spawn times. So either defense is cut though like paper and doesnt get time to rebuild, or blue team doesnt even come close to taking the point. Ive never seen a close game on that map...
Also the idea with being in the same area and going though the same entrance/exits is that static defenses like sentries and such dont need to be moved, if you keep it up in that one spot then its easier to defend the area. And you dont have to worry about scouts and other classes going the long way to flank. Easier for both to defend while keeping a good offense.
