The Pocket Scout
I've noticed that Valve is trying to make the Scout more viable as a Medic-Buddy. The Crit-a-Cola works very well with an uber, since the mini-crits dont affect you. Additionally, hitting yourself repeatedly with the Boston Basher can help your Medic charge his uber. The Medic also has a weapon called "The Quick-Fix" in TF2 beta with the following stats:
ÜberCharge grants 3x faster healing on target
ÜberCharge makes heal target and medic immune to stun and damage forces
+50% heal rate
+50% ÜberCharge rate
Can't overheal.
Move at the speed of any faster heal target.
If this is released, it would make the Scout even more viable as a Medic-Buddy. What are your thoughts? Is the Scout useful as a Medic-Buddy? If not, why?Last edited by Knee of Justice; 04-07-11 at 10:54 PM.

Re: The Pocket Scout
I appreciate any class that will pocket, quite honestly. Read: Pocket with me = you live, I live, other players live, targets get taken out, we win, profit.
Also, I want the Q-F. Like yesterday.
To answer your question, Knee: Fully loaded Kritz'd Scouts are amazingly effective, especially on two to three enemies—they never expect it. It's just that most Scouts don't call out stuff and run off and do their own thing (roam) instead of sticking with the advancing "blob."Last edited by Sketch; 04-08-11 at 04:31 PM.

I've noticed the exact same post on SPUF word for word.
