Nice chain, except for the seizure you had at the end. Have you tried changing your rates? I think its either rates 30000 or setrates 30000 for TPG... Been a long time since iv done it, if its on all servers im not sure what the issue is.

Still cant believe people get stair stabbed these days....

I cant believe that for stair stabs you just have to be in the air for it to register it a backstab. Had a spy jump at perhaps head height and im like harhar fooled your ass im not running into that and it still said backstab... I was not happy. I saw him at the top of the stairs and started backing up. Like 2 more steps and he would have landed right in front of me. Apparently grappling onto my torso is good enough.

LOL no.... From first person view of the spy, they are actually right on your back. From the victims view though, the spy is still over their head when they get stabbed due to the character models lagging a bit (I think)

I'll post an example a bit later from the victim and the spy's first person views.

And this shows that the hitbox (you) is not actually where your character model really is, there is a delay and that is why it looks like I'm still above you when i stair stabbed you.

It won't pick up in a replay. Replays are not lag compensated. This is why in replays a sniper can appear to completely miss but still get a headshot.

BTW, I'm seconding "cant believe people get stair stabbed these days". I think I've been stairstabbed twice ever. Killed dozens of spies that tried though.
