TF2 Free to Play?

Its just a hat that you can wear on all characters.
Its just for people who bought it before it was F2P

I think it is great that they are giving it away for free.I have about 250 hours of gameplay and it cost my like 10 bucks.Im sure most of you have even more then I do.So Im glad that more people will get to try team fortress, its an amazing game.

Oh for those worried about the free to players.Screw you!, you are already the most noob-intolerant TPG and TF2 server I know.My friend was yelled at and harassed because he deployed his uber charge 3 seconds before the round started on accident.He was almost kick too!I hope the influx of new players teaches you some damn patience

No, where are the words unusuals, crates, or drops mentioned? It references one hat, by name, and says clearly who gets it and how. There is a picture of that hat on this page.

It's great that it's free to play, but I feel kinda....idk, sad is the best word I can come up with. Probably for the same reason other people complained about TF2 when the store came out, the game is different from the one I bought back in 2008. not just because of new items, but the direction it's taking.

I'll get over it eventually though, most likely after I get the damn update downloaded. >__<
