TF2 Free to Play?

If you get a crate, you have to buy a key to open it, which is half way to getting a premium account anyways.

The problem with that is that Valve is marketing the game to the F2Pers with stuff like Customize YOUR character YOUR way, HATS HATS HATS. etc....

Hats are just to much of a selling point for the game to not include for them.

The servers are being pounded, you might not get it for awhile.

Sort your backpack by type.
Then check for a little green disk.
The hat itself is shitty, but having it is a lot better than not.

I just realized, you can no longer gift TF2 (Full) to a friend.

The only way to get a premium account in TF2 is buy an item from the MannCo Store, you can't buy items for other people and you can't give people gift cards. (Which would be a great idea, instead of buying someone a game get them a "steam gift card" which just adds money to their wallet) You should be able to buy/gift a premium TF2 account through the steam store for like $5.

I have a gift wrap I traded for long ago.... are you saying that I can't use it anymore?
