TF2 Free to Play?

this is crazy that it's free forever. I think I've had the game since 08 but I barely play it. It's summer and I wanna start playing it more often so we'll see. The servers were way overloaded last a couple days ago so I'm hoping it dies down a lot

I don't see why people here, at TPG, are pessimistic about having a crop of new/noob players, that's the whole point right? We admin our own servers, and we do a good job of it. Don't see what the problems would be.

I was never interested in TF2, but now it's free, I'm probably going to try it just to see what the fuss is all about. Plus something about hats makes me feel tingly.

I've invited ALL my steam friends!!!!!

Course, that's only like 8 people and 4 of em are already here, but still.....

That's like saying that 1/70,000 people in the world are playing TF2 RIGHT NOW.

We'll have to see how long this influx lasts. As tempting as it is, we shouldn't be jerks to new people. Try to teach them, warn them if they don't comply and only kick as a last resort.
