TF2 Free to Play?

I wouldn't be surprised, they make SO much money off the MannCo store, and this week you can't buy TF2 from the steam store while it is free. (Suggesting there is no reason to wait to the end of the free week to buy it because it will stay free)

No option to purchase: Team Fortress 2 on Steam

Otherwise it is silly that you can't buy it during the free week if you liked it.

Possible MAJOR issues...

-Hackers could make accounts, get VAC'd and go make a new one.
-SOOOOOO many idle accounts for items.

If they do this, they will lose lots of players and what you said would happen WILL happen. I hope they don't do this

I'm not really sure how they are gonna lose players but yeah hackers are gonna be everywhere if they do this. I could really care less about abusing ildeing and I don't think its gonna be an issue since most of the people that care enough to do that already have enough alt accounts.
